Maria Maksakova
Maria Maksakova is an acclaimed soprano and a distinguished representative of the legendary Maksakov artistic dynasty. A graduate of the Gnessin Academy of Music, she began her career collaborating with Russia’s leading opera houses, including the Bolshoi Theatre, Mariinsky Theatre, Helikon Opera, and the Novaya Opera Theatre.
Since 2010, Maksakova has performed on major international stages across Vienna, Tokyo, London, and Baden‑Baden, earning recognition for her dramatic intensity, vocal power, and stylistic versatility. She has released three solo albums under Universal Music Group, the world’s largest record label.
In 2016, she relocated to Kyiv, Ukraine, where she continues her artistic career as a guest soloist at the National Opera of Ukraine, as well as opera houses in Kharkiv and Dnipro. In 2019, she made her acclaimed Carnegie Hall debut in New York.
