I’m hosting Igor & Red Elvises for a live concert in my backyard — and you’re invited!

If you’ve never seen them live, expect an outrageously fun mix of rock’n’roll, surf rock, Eastern European energy, humor, and music that makes it almost impossible to stay seated.

Igor Yuzov was born in Germany, raised in Ukraine, and studied in Russia. Growing up in the Soviet Union, where rock’n’roll was once forbidden, he developed an early fascination with the music he wasn’t supposed to hear.

After moving to America, Igor eventually formed Red Elvises with his Russian musician friends. They started out playing on Santa Monica’s Third Street Promenade, drawing crowds so large that the city eventually stopped their street performances.

Their sound became known as “Siberian Surf Rock” — infectious grooves, hilarious lyrics, and a wild live show guaranteed to turn a concert into a party.

Over the years, Igor & Red Elvises have toured around the world, released numerous albums, and appeared in films and television, including Six-String Samurai, Melrose Place, Penn & Teller’s Sin City Spectacular, VH1, MTV, and more. They’ve played everything from intimate parties to huge festival stages, including the Live 8 Benefit Concert.

And now they’re playing in the backyard of a private house in Del Rey.😎
